Capacity for ro-ro traffic in Västra hamnen

Did you know that we have a Ro-Ro quay in Västra hamnen?

At this quay, we usually receive chemical tankers for our customer Clariant. But the quay is also specially adapted for Ro-Ro vessels with a straight stern ramp.

When we recently received M/V Link Sun, we used the Ro-Ro quay in Västra Hamnen. The vessel's load consisted of two reactors intended for the Norwegian wind power industry. With the help of our ro-ro quay, the reactors could be unloaded directly by a road tractor coupled to a semitrailer A relatively smooth job, despite the fact that one equipage weighed a whopping 286 tonnes.
