Water life saving, a vital knowledge

Our stevedore workers are at the moment undergoing a course in water lifesaving. A vital knowledge, when you so often work at quays and by water.

Water lifesaving is a one-day training course, by the Transport Association's Occupational and Work Environment Association - TYA. It alternates between theory and practice, and among other things, the course goes through how lifesaving ladders are used, how to take care of a hypothermic person and rehearses CPR skills.
