From Luleå, via Uddevalla, and on towards project Västlänken

Last week M/V Pasila arrived at Västra hamnen, loaded with almost 13,000 tons of iron ore from Luleå. Discharging was done in record speed, all on the same day, by our skilled stevedore workers.

The iron ore from Luleå is quite different from the chrome ore that is usually imported from Turkey, via Port of Uddevalla. The iron ore, unlike the chrome ore, is completely black, and consists of granules rather than large stones.

This particular iron ore has been brought here by NCC, to be used as material in the Västlänken project in Gothenburg.
