Launching of the raft that will oxygenate Byfjorden

The raft is crafted with two pumps that will push the oxygen-rich surface water down to the depths. This will create oxygenation and help to revive the seabed of Byfjorden. This is a method that has been tested before, and is proven to be effective.

The raft will be transported to Rödön and Lindesnäsbryggan, where it will be positioned. The organisation Projekt Fjordtorsk/Stiftelsen Byfjordens framtid plans an opening with a ceremonial start-up of the pumps at Bohusläns museum on Monday 6 May.
