Workshop dedicated to the railway logistics at and towards Port of Uddevalla

This week, the management group of Port of Uddevalla engaged logistics experts from RISE Research Institutes of Sweden to explore issues related to the present railway situation, the role and prospective site of the railway harp, railway connections to the port, and external analysis. We were also joined by Lennart Hammarbäck from SYSTRA Sweden, who contributed with his expertise in the field.

Numerous ideas and insights surfaced throughout the day, and we are eager to summarize our findings. A report with all the highlights from our discussions will be released later this year.

The materials for the workshop were gathered from our principal customers to underscore the present and future requirements of our organization and those impacted by the port's rail connectivity.
