The first train from Moelven Valåsen has arrived to the Port of Uddevalla

Last Wednesday, the very first freight train from Moelven Valåsen arrived at the port, loaded with 16 wagons of sawn timber. This marks the start of a new logistics setup, in collaboration between Moelven, Tågab, and TFK Logistik.

In the coming weeks, a new train is expected every Wednesday. In parallel, timber deliveries are also arriving by truck from Moelven Soknabruket and Moelven Trysil in Norway.

Once the full volume has been gathered at the port, the timber will be reloaded for onward sea transport to Alexandria, Egypt.
