New equipment boosts sustainability and productivity

Last week, we discharged our first load of pellet using a combination of our newest port crane and our new bucket, with an impressive capacity of 18 cubic metres. The upgraded equipment offers significantly higher capacity than before, making operations not only smoother but also more energy- and resource-efficient.

With the new bucket, a truckload can now be filled in a single lift, compared to three previously. Fewer lifts mean lower energy consumption and reduced wear on the machinery. The faster flow between the quay and the adjacent storage area also results in fewer idling hours and more optimized traffic, leading to lower emissions and a better working environment.
