Local design meets global trade

Today, the Swedish-flagged vessel Fure Vesborg is berthed at Port of Uddevalla, discharging liquid bulk. The vessel is owned by the Swedish company Furetank through the joint venture FureBears. Fure Vesborg was built in 2025 and is the fourteenth vessel in the Vinga series.

The Vinga series comprises a total of 22 product tankers, with the first delivered in 2018. The vessels are 17,999 dwt, have ice class 1A, and were designed by Furetank in close collaboration with the Uddevalla-based company FKAB Marine Design.

The ship agent for today’s call is Stenungsund-based Ferm & Olsson.
