We welcome Kristoffer as our new Stevedore Foreman

Kristoffer started out as an extra stevedore at the Port of Uddevalla back in 2008. Over the years, he has contributed to our operations in a variety of roles, and since this summer he has stepped in as Acting Foreman for the stevedoring department. He is now taking on the role as permanent Stevedore Foreman.

In addition to his new position, Kristoffer is currently supporting the organisation as Acting Resource Planner every other Monday during a parental leave cover.

Versatile, committed, and highly driven – we are very pleased to welcome Kristoffer into his new role with us!

We took the opportunity to ask a few questions:

How does it feel to step into the role of Supervisor?

– It feels both fun and exciting. I’ve been here for a long time and know the operations well, so it’s great to be able to contribute in a new way.

What is most important to you in your leadership?

– Bringing people together. When everyone pulls in the same direction and we work closely together, that’s when we achieve the best results. It’s also important to me that we enjoy our time at work. We spend many hours side by side, and a positive atmosphere makes a real difference.
