Knowledge exchange strengthens the ports of the future

Meeting industry colleagues and learning from each other's experiences broadens perspectives and creates valuable insights. This week, our management team visited Port of Luleå for a productive and inspiring knowledge exchange.

The investments being made at Port of Luleå are truly impressive. Within the next few years, the port is expected to handle three to four times more cargo than it does today, accommodate significantly increased vessel traffic, and manage entirely new cargo flows. Its development and expanded capacity are key enablers of the growth and green transition currently taking place within the mining and steel industries in northern Sweden.

For our CEO, Henrik Vuorinen, the visit is particularly special, offering a welcome opportunity to reconnect with an organization he previously had the privilege of leading.

At Uddevalla Hamnterminal, collaboration and knowledge sharing with industry peers are an important part of our own development journey. We return home with many valuable insights as we continue our work to develop the port and create the conditions for future growth.
