Successful renovation of Frölands quay completed

The project to reinforce and renovate the approximately 400 piles beneath Frölands quay in the Port of Uddevalla has now been completed. This marks the final step in the planned refurbishment of the quay.

The project has been highly successful, thanks to good progress, efficient production and close cooperation between us and the contractors Port Engineering, Undeko and Swe Sub Marine. The work was completed a full two months ahead of the original schedule, and the final inspection was carried out at the end of week 27.

The contractors have delivered work of a high standard and fulfilled all requirements. Through a shared focus on solutions, efficiency and results, the production process was optimised and the project completion time significantly shortened.

This is an excellent example of what can be achieved through careful planning, strong collaboration and a clear common goal.

This was the final step in the planned refurbishment of Frölands quay. The quay is now stronger than ever and well prepared to meet future needs. The next step is an expansion of the quay, with a decision already made to extend it eastwards.
