The Ambassador of Japan to Sweden visits Port of Uddevalla

We had the honor of hosting the Ambassador of Japan to Sweden, Noke Masaki, embassy secretary Seiichi Sakata and consul general Claes Grill to Port of Uddevalla just before Christmas. When they, for two days visited selected companies and schools in Uddevalla, together with Christina Nilsson, chairman of the municipal council.

To respresent Port of Uddevalla, our CEO Ulf Stenberg took help from several of our employees. The visitors were given a presentation of our business, accompanied with a traditional Swedish Christmas "fika" consisting of gingerbread and non-alcoholic Mulled wine, among others. And they were, of course, treated to a guided tour of our port. On Skeppsholmspiren, Ambassador Noke Masaki took the chance to try out one of our wheel loaders, instructed by one of our talented truck drivers.
