A milestone for Västra Hamnen

A major step forward for Västra Hamnen as Lantmännen inaugurates its new grain facility in Uddevalla.

Yesterday, Lantmännen held an opening ceremony for its new grain facility in Västra Hamnen, together with Minister for Rural Affairs Peter Kullgren.

This investment is the largest of its kind since the 1980s and amounts to approximately SEK 500 million. The new facility strengthens Sweden’s grain infrastructure through increased export capacity and higher intake capacity.

The investment will have positive effects on Swedish agriculture, Sweden’s food preparedness, and not least the long-term partnership between Lantmännen and the Port of Uddevalla.
